Dental Assistant/Receptionist - 1300Smiles Strathpine

1300SMILES Strathpine is looking for a friendly, reliable, and motivated Casual Dental Assistant / Receptionist to join our welcoming team.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, loves helping people, and is passionate about delivering exceptional patient care and customer service. In this dual-role position, you’ll play an important part in supporting both our clinical and front office teams to ensure our patients have a seamless and positive experience.

As a Casual Dental Assistant / Receptionist, no two days will be the same. You’ll assist clinicians during procedures while also helping manage front desk operations and patient interactions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assisting clinicians during dental procedures
• Preparing and sterilising instruments and treatment rooms
• Providing exceptional patient care and support
• Greeting patients and creating a welcoming environment
• Managing appointments and patient enquiries
• Handling patient records and administrative tasks

• Supporting the smooth day-to-day operations of the practice

• Previous dental experience is highly regarded but not essential

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• A positive, team-focused attitude
• Excellent organisation and multitasking abilities
• Passionate about patient care and customer service
• Willingness to learn and grow within the dental industry
