This is a part-time position responsible for assisting with the care and maintenance of natural areas and areas designated as City of Miami Natural Forest Communities. Work involves assisting with exotic plant species removal, ecosystem restoration activities, and trimming and removing trees in order to advance efforts of restoration, conservation and stewardship by the Natural Areas Division of the Parks and Recreation Department. An incumbent will also be responsible for planting trees, cutting grass, removing weeds, raking, and trash collection. General supervision is received from the Senior Park Naturalist or designee.
