The Guest Service Representatives are the greeters, problem-solvers, and sales force of all that is the location where you work. You provide excellent service; apply knowledge of company products, optional tours, services, local information, policies, procedures, and guidelines to assist guests and employees; and support the overall goals of the company as you provide the best experience possible for our visitors. RESPONSIBILITIES
- Works independently overnight to provide customer service; including problem-solving, processing guests' requests, and passing along nightly information to the morning supervisor.
- Performs a variety of complex reports using multiple software systems.
- Applies knowledge of company products, services, and policies to guests.
- Provides general area and lodge information.
- Answers all calls from guests and employees, including texting app. and radio calls.
- Maintains nightly records of guest calls, room deliveries (guest request), and wake-up calls.
- Mandatory night auditor rotation weekly that requires processing financial transactions and performing revenue audits.
REQUIREMENTS
- Must pass a pre-employment background check.
- Minimum age of 18 years is required to reside in company housing, where available.
- Must be eligible to work in the United States. Holland America-Princess is unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of employment visas at this time (e.g., H-2B status).
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITIES
- Ability to organize and prioritize work, and maintain attention to time constraints, while working in a team or group environment.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple tasks and external influences.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while achieving daily goals.
- Ability to support and comply with company policies, procedures, and guidelines including support and comply with company health and safety standards.
- Ability to stand/walk/work on feet for a minimum of 8 hours per day.
