Thank you for your interest in working at Bell! This position is an individual contributor position responsible for coordinating and managing proposals and sales-related contract transactions and agreements for aircraft (helicopters) and aftermarket (spares) sales within the Japan territory.
In this role, the Regional Contracts Manager comes in support of Bell sales managers. The position involves customer facing interactions as well as strong coordination with the Bell Headquarters in USA.
The position is based in Ebisu (Tokyo). The position reports within the Bell Legal department and specifically to the Manager, Contracts - Asia.
Position Responsibilities:

Pre-Sale activities (Proposal and Bid Management)

Coordinating internal response to customer's RFPs/RFQs; including defining Scope of Work, schedules, and technical compliance with customer's requirements.

Preparing budgetary and firm price proposal using internal tools (Salesforce).

Developing proposal documents and coordinating internal management reviews with relevant corporate functions and Bell executive leadership.

Sales and Negotiation Activities

Conducting contractual terms and conditions negotiations with private and government customers.

Reviewing, editing, writing, and interpreting a wide variety of commercial contracts and agreements (including Purchase Agreement, Amendments, NDAs, MOUs, Collaboration Agreements, Technical Assistance Agreements, License Agreements...).

Ensuring accuracy, acceptability, executability, and legal sufficiency of all contractual documents in accordance with internal approvals and company policies.

Post-Sales Activities

Monitoring and enforcing Bell and Customer's contractual obligations and mitigating any contractual risks (late delivery, certifications, payment delay, default...).

Supporting aircraft delivery events including administrative paperwork, contractual notices, and customer travels.

Maintaining Bell contract and information management systems to ensure proper reporting and internal flow of information.

Ad-Hoc Tasks

Performing tasks related to office administration and company incorporation.

Ensuring proper compliance with company policies and guidelines as well as compliance and ethics rules and regulations.

Leading special assignments and projects within Contracts or specific to the Japan office/territory including support of co-production agreements, government sales campaigns, supply chain, interaction with Civil Aviation Authority and other local aviation actors.
