Employee Relations Partner

Luton | Full-time | Hybrid

20% bonus • 7% pension • Staff travel benefits

We support hybrid working, and you’ll spend 60% of your time each month in the office.

You turn complex employee relations challenges into clear, fair decisions that build confidence and reduce risk.

If you combine sound judgement with practical employment law expertise, and you know how to influence through sensitive change, this is a role where your advice will make a visible difference across the business.

The opportunity

As Employee Relations Partner, you’ll be a strategic subject matter expert for the functions you support, helping leaders and HR Business Partners navigate complex, high risk matters with confidence.

You’ll look beyond individual cases to identify trends and systemic risks, turning data and insight into practical action, stronger manager capability and more consistent people practices. You’ll report to the Head of Employee Relations and Policy and travel across UK base locations when delivery requires it.

“This role is for someone who can get beneath a complex issue, apply employment law in a practical way and explain the path forward clearly. Curiosity matters too: the strongest partner will spot patterns early and help leaders act before risks grow.”
ER Team, easyJet

The team & culture

You’ll join a specialist Employee Relations team within People Service Delivery. The team advises, coaches and guides managers, while creating training and practical tools that help the business handle employee relations topics consistently, fairly and with the right level of risk awareness.

The team is focused on continuous improvement and useful self service support, giving managers clear, accessible information while keeping expert help available for the most complex situations.

What you’ll be doing

You’ll lead on complex and high risk employee relations matters, including escalated cases, providing clear oversight, practical advice and proportionate plans for resolution.

You’ll partner functional leaders and HR Business Partners, using case data to identify patterns, recommend action and strengthen decision making. Where capability gaps emerge, you’ll shape targeted training for individuals or groups.

You’ll provide expert advice on change programmes with people impacts, support consultation activity and engage unions or consultative groups where appropriate. You’ll improve delivery through accurate case records, manager self-service and policy recommendations grounded in case experience.
