What awaits you:
· Perform CFD simulations for fuel systems, battery systems, and related components.
· Define simulation scope, assumptions, and boundary conditions.
· Prepare CFD models, including geometry cleanup and meshing.
· Set up, run, and monitor CFD analyses in ANSYS Fluent.
· Execute CFD projects according to Kautex standards and industry best practices.
· Post-process and interpret simulation results.
· Provide engineering recommendations based on CFD findings.
· Support fuel and battery system development through CFD analyses including fuel slosh, refueling, venting, battery cooling, thermal runaway, two-phase immersion cooling, camera cleaning/nozzle spray, and flow distribution assessments.
· Correlate simulation results with physical testing data.
· Develop and improve CFD methodologies and workflows.
· Select appropriate CAE tools and modeling approaches.
· Collaborate with peers and junior CAE engineers.
· Support customer projects with CFD expertise.
· Maintain simulation documentation and project records.
· Ensure compliance with customer and internal requirements.
· Support collaboration within global engineering teams.
· Continuously develop technical knowledge and skills.
