Underwriter Accident & Health - Rotterdam based
at Combined Insurance
Are you a strong communicator and relationship builder? Do you like a technical challenge to build the best possible solution for the most appealing companies in our country? We have a job opening in our high pace international environment, where you can help a wide variety of companies to protect what really matters: their people.
In a nutshell
As an Underwriter with a specialization in Accident & Health insurance, you
will help all types of organizations keep their employees safe, all over the
world. How? By assessing their risk landscape and offering them the right
products to mitigate risk. Whether it’s employees who get injured or risks
employees face when traveling the world for business. Organizations often have
limited knowledge of risks their employees may face when abroad, you can help
them decide which level of protection is required.
You will be responsible for further growing the portfolio by actively pursuing
new business opportunities and building/maintaining long lasting relationships
with our clients and partners. In doing this you will not stop where our A&H
offering stops. You will pro-actively look for cross-sell opportunities and
work together with our Claims, Operations and Global Services colleagues to
ultimately provide the most comprehensive product and service offering to
companies worldwide.
Your main responsibilities:
-
Client management. You will actively build relationships to harvest new business, while simultaneously providing renewal propositions for existing clients.
-
Ambassadorship. You will help us be top of mind for both brokers and clients. As a true ambassador of the Chubb brand you will be promoting our products and services to both internal and external clients.
-
Product development. You will actively be contributing to the development and optimization of our product proposition and make sure it remains competitive.
Qualifications
-
By preference you have a higher educational degree (BSc/MSc), or have proven equal experience
-
You have affinity with commerce, business development and/or marketing
-
You are outgoing, with a good dose of confidence
-
You are a strong communicator and fast thinker who can easily switch between different tasks/priorities
-
You are a team player and hands-on a self-starter
** This is what we have to offer:**
-
Being part of a close team of top-notch professionals
-
A competitive salary, suitable for your knowledge and experience
-
Participation in the Chubb bonus scheme
-
Benefits, such as buying Chubb stock at reduced price
-
A company car
-
Great learning and development opportunities, both through our global career platform as well as external training opportunities
-
Flexible working arrangements
