WHO YOU ARE:
A responsible individual interested in helping administer federally mandated quality evaluations of unemployment insurance determinations. You understand the value of quality assurance work in state government and are interested in joining a team working from the TWC main office.

WHAT YOU WILL DO:
The Program Specialist III performs complex (journey-level) consultative services and technical assistance work. Works under general supervision, with moderate latitude for the use of initiative and independent judgment.

YOU WILL BE TRUSTED TO:
- Support Benefits Accuracy Measurement (BAM) operations within the Unemployment Insurance Data Analysis department.
- Prepare BAM case files on a weekly basis which involves capturing screens from TWC's mainframe and external websites as well as operating Excel macros.
- Generate correspondence, create mail merges, and mails letters from the TWC Main Office.
- Perform data entry for BAM case results into a federal database.
- Responsible for general departmental and logistical support within the department which can include scanning mail, work orders, purchase orders.
- Learn and perform BAM auditing functions.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.

YOU QUALIFY WITH:
- One year and six months of full-time experience in the development, implementation, or interpretation of policies and procedures in a public or private agency.
- Relevant academic credits may be applied toward experience qualifications for this position.

YOU ARE A GREAT FIT WITH:
- Experience using the Unemployment Insurance Benefits Mainframe and knowledge of Unemployment Insurance rules.
- Experience with Microsoft Excel.
