Lead, Retail Stocker

Help guests take a piece of their adventure home. As the Lead, Retail Stocker, you play a key role in turning memories into mementos by ensuring our retail locations are fully stocked with meaningful souvenirs. From inventory to delivery, you make it possible for guests to discover keepsakes that celebrate birthdays, anniversaries, or simply unforgettable moments from their Alaskan journey.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Assists in the shipping and receiving of products in the retail warehouse.
  • Supervise retail warehouse operations ensuring a safe and clean work environment by keeping shelves, pallet areas, and workstations organized according to company guidelines.
  • Prepares orders by pulling items from the warehouse and delivering them to retail locations.
  • Maintains Inventory and warehouse management (receiving, ticketing, and distributing).
  • Supervise periodic physical inventories as well as potential count discrepancies
  • Maintain records, reports, logs, and files in accordance with company policies, procedures, and guidelines.
  • Responsible for the overall display and presentation of the products in the store including stocking, and replenishing merchandise.
  • May monitor alarms and communicate with guests, employees, security, management, and emergency personnel in the event of urgent and/or emergent medical and non-medical incidents on the property.
  • Keep work areas organized, clean, and sanitized.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Must be able to lift 50 lbs./23kg.
  • Valid Driver’s License (not revoked or suspended) with fewer than three moving violations.
  • Must pass a pre-employment background check.
  • Minimum age of 18 years is required to reside in company housing, where available.
  • Must be eligible to work in the United States. Holland America-Princess is unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of employment visas at this time (e.g., H-2B status).

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITIES

  • Ability to organize and prioritize work, and maintain attention to time constraints, while working in a team or group environment.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple tasks and external influences.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while achieving daily goals.
  • Ability to support and comply with company policies, procedures, and guidelines including support and comply with company health and safety standards.
  • Ability to stand/walk/work on feet for a minimum of 8 hours per day.
