Manager – Tariff Governance

To lead and direct the Tariff Governance department, overseeing the development, implementation, and management of all tariff policies, processes, and guidelines across AD Ports Group. This role is responsible for establishing and maintaining a unified maximum tariff framework, managing CPI and general tariff increases, and ensuring tariff transparency and competitiveness. The Manager will cultivate robust relationships with economic institutions and authorities, analyze macroeconomic trends, and provide strategic insights to ensure alignment with organizational goals and regulatory requirements.
Core Responsibilities:
- Tariff Policy & Governance: Direct the execution and evaluation of all port pricing and tariff policies, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives. Lead the development of tariff policies, processes, and guidelines.
- Tariff Framework Management: Oversee the unified maximum tariff ceilings, manage annual CPI and general tariff increases, and govern the Tariff Review Panel.
- Benchmarking & Competitiveness: Lead annual tariff benchmarking exercises against local, regional, and international ports. Analyze market trends and ensure the competitiveness of AD Ports Group’s tariff structures.
- Tariff Review & Approvals: Manage the receipt and technical review of all tariff applications and Tariff Exemption Requests (TERs) from AD Ports Clusters. Act as the primary liaison with the Investment Committee (IC) for tariff-related matters.
- Concession Oversight: Provide robust oversight of concession tariffs to ensure compliance and alignment with agreements.
- Transparency: Ensure all tariff books, registers, and official publications are accurate, transparent, and readily accessible to stakeholders.
People Management Responsibilities:
- Inspire and lead the Tariff Governance team to achieve departmental goals and maintain high-performance standards.
- Conduct performance evaluations, provide constructive feedback, and identify development programs to foster a culture of continuous learning.
- Address and resolve conflicts and employee concerns promptly and constructively.
Strategic Responsibilities:
- Contribute to the development and implementation of strategies to enhance the Pricing & Tariff portfolio.
- Stay informed of market trends and regulatory changes to provide strategic input for planning and decision-making.
- Engage in strategic projects aimed at improving the efficiency and effectiveness of Tariff Governance operations.
Educational and Technical Qualifications:|
- Bachelor’s Degree in Management, Business Administration, Economics, or any relevant field.

- Excellent command of written and spoken English is essential; Arabic is preferred.
Years of Experience:|
- 8-10 years of relevant experience in pricing, tariff management, or economic policy.
