The Maintenance Supervisor oversees the repairs, and preventive maintenance of the equipment, machinery, and buildings. Develops Maintenance team through coaching, feedback, and continued training activities, initiates, implements, and manages the plant maintenance program based on best practices, with an emphasis on planning/scheduling and preventive/predictive maintenance. Responsible for the use and inventories of spare parts, maintenance supplies, and equipment to mitigate risk.
What You'll Do:
- Developing maintenance procedures and ensuring implementation.
- Carrying out inspections of the facilities to identify and resolve issues.
- Checking electrical and hydraulic systems of buildings to ensure functionality
- Develop maintenance procedures and ensure implementation.

- Manage relationships with contractors and service providers.
- Keep maintenance logs and report on daily activities.
- Ensure health and safety policies are complied with.
- Directly supervise employees and work closely with vendors and contactors.
- Interpret specifications, blueprints, and job orders to workers and assign duties accordingly.
- Coordinate, organize, and direct activities of maintenance crews.
- Assists workers in diagnosing malfunction in machinery and equipment.
- Maintain proper inventories of required spares in order to provide efficient operations.
- Coordinate repairs and preventative maintenance with a team of mechanical/electrical maintenance staff.
- Use technical knowledge, equipment documentation, safety procedures, and maintenance schedules to follow, improve, and develop preventative and routine maintenance programs.
- Devise and implement cost saving strategies.
- Develop and implement methods and procedures designed to eliminate maintenance problems and improve product quality.

Perform administrative activities such as scheduling crews, UltiPro Time and Attendance timecard reviews, completing reports, conducting safety conversations, and complying other reporting as necessary.

High school diploma or GED required.
- Minimum of 5 years work experience supervising maintenance crews in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
- Experience in planning maintenance operations.
- Solid understanding of technical aspects of plumbing, carpentry, electrical systems etc.
- Working knowledge of facilities machines and equipment.
- Ability to keep track of and report on activity.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Outstanding organizational and leadership abilities.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, proficiency in written and verbal communication, and good spelling and grammar.
- High degree of attention to detail; demonstrates accuracy and self-directed.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook.

**Working Conditions: **
