Expert - Operations Performance
at Abu Dhabi Ports Company
Support the Projects Development team to deliver key projects by tracking information, monitoring performance and preparing reports.
Core Responsibilities:

Ensure timely delivery of projects by developing plans based on logical framework approaches and preparing reports to monitor project progress and key performance indicators.

Review and provide advise on operations projects scope of work, deliverables and timelines.

Meet stakeholders, understand needs and resolve issues to maintain smooth operations.

Ensure to monitor the performance of projects and operations while adhering to project KPIs and delivery timelines.

Carry our audit requirements to ensure compliance to Policies, Strategies and Procedures.

Perform metrics reporting and data analysis to identify issues and opportunities for process business improvements.

Ensure proper project documentation including all signed off paperwork and track deliverables.

Create and update Master Schedule for Projects with due dates to track deliverables including metrics and challenges.

Participate in identifying and reporting work related hazards and risks and report HSE observation, near miss and incident.

Participate as key player on assigned projects and represent business unit in multi-division projects.

People Management Responsibilities:

Interact with equipment and infrastructure service
s suppliers for timely delivery of projects.

Educational and Technical Qualifications:|
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Operations Management, Business Administration or a related field. Master's degree is a plus
- Project Management certificate is highly desired

Language Skills:|
- Excellent English. Arabic is an added advantage
Years of Experience:|
- A minimum of 6-8 years of experience in a similar role
Nature of Experience:|
- Handling of Operations projects and cargo handling knowledge is must.
- Knowledge of ISO and IMO standards.
- Prior experience of project reporting and analysis
- Ability to work in 24×7 operating environment.
- Previous experience working in the Port and Maritime sector and hands on knowledge of ports operations and infrastructure development.
