**Job Summary : **
This position is responsible for handling cases in the Involved Line(s) of
Business to ensure delivery of excellent claims
services and efficient claims operation.
**Involved Lines of Business : **
Property and Onshore Construction
**Job Duties : **
· Review, evaluate, negotiate and resolve claims, within designated
authority level, in line with established standards, procedures and guidance
provided.
· Exhibit technical leadership, both internally and externally, on claims
matter which Allied World participates.
· Identifying, investigate suspicious / fraudulent claims and take
appropriate actions and keep relevant
stakeholders closely informed.
· Market Allied World’s claims capabilities through client meetings,
presentations and seminars to Insured, Intermediaries, etc.
· Managing Insured/intermediary interactions in an efficient, courteous and
timely manner in order to deliver high standards of customer satisfaction.
This also includes handling and resolving any customer feedback or complaints.
· Organizing and using approved internal and/or external suppliers to
ensure appropriate and timely services are provided to customers.
· Proactively supervise and manage expenses of independent vendors and
legal counsels for involved Line(s) of Business.
· Interact with relevant internal / external stakeholders to support and
deliver business strategy.
· Ensure performance of periodic internal review of claim files including
monitoring/pursuing of outstanding recoveries.
· Preparation of reports or analysis where necessary regarding claims
including large losses.
· Ensure compliance with all legal, regulatory and policy requirements
internally and externally.
· Additional duties and responsibilities as warranted.
· In the future recruit and manage further staff as necessary.
