Automotive Technician II, Jaguar Land Rover

This Automotive Technician II supports the Jaguar/Land Rover Technical Center by performing basic maintenance and repair tasks under the supervision of the Shop Supervisor. This position is ideal for individuals beginning their career in automotive service and eager to learn and grow in a fast-paced shop environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform basic vehicle maintenance including oil and filter changes, tire rotations, and fluid checks.
  • Conduct pre-delivery inspections (PDI) to ensure vehicles meet quality and safety standards before customer delivery.
  • Assist with light maintenance and minor repairs as directed by senior technicians or the Shop Supervisor.
  • Inspect vehicles for wear, damage, and maintenance needs, and report findings promptly.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring tools and equipment are properly stored and in good working condition.
  • Follow all safety and environmental guidelines, shop procedures, and manufacturer recommendations.
  • Support other technicians and departments as needed to ensure efficient workflow.
  • Complete all required training and certifications as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Basic mechanical aptitude and interest in automotive repair and maintenance.
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions accurately.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality work.
  • Team-oriented with a positive attitude and willingness to learn.
