Building Automation Systems- Sr. Systems Specialist

POSITION SUMMARY

Design, commission, and build BAS databases and graphics in a safe, conscientious, and professional manner while striving to exceed our high-end, commercial real estate customers’ expectations. Assist in providing project management and leadership within the BAS Department. Follow professional development plan to accomplish individual goals.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:

• Design, service, and implement BAS systems
• Oversee setup and installation of BAS components and ensure proper setup of end devices
• Report status of BAS projects to Systems Coordinator and Systems Supervisor
• Perform network setup and troubleshooting (IP, RS-485, etc.)
• Perform Point-to-Point verification of I/O
• Provide technical support to BAS team
• Provide excellent craftsmanship and quality of work
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment, including the proper use of PPE
• Coordinate and maintain company-issued tools and equipment
• Complete accurate timecards, service activities, and inspection reports
• Regularly communicate with team, Systems Coordinator, and Systems Supervisor
• Regularly communicate with jobsite point of contact regarding arrival, progress, and departure
• Other duties, as needed
