Material Review Board Engineer - Drive Systems Center

We’re more than aviation experts, we’re pioneers. We challenge what’s possible. From breaking the sound barrier to advanced tiltrotor systems. Today, Bell is shaping the future of aviation through specialized engineering. And we want you.
We are developing the future of Army Aviation with the Bell Future Long-Range Assault Aircraft (FLRAA) part of the US Army’s Future Vertical Lift (FVL) modernization effort. We are also developing the Bell 525 Relentless and Bell's High-Speed Vertical Take-Off and Landing (HSVTOL) program, a next generation aircraft.
This position is onsite at the Bell's Drive Systems Center in Grand Prairie, Texas.

The candidate will lead internal and external technical discussions to assess part conditions and repair capabilities as part of the disposition process. They will work closely with engineering support groups – such as drive system design, drives stress, and fatigue – as well as production supervisors and managers to support the assessment of part conditions and execution of repairs, where applicable, assuring MRB approved documents are followed and repairs are done correctly.

The candidate is expected to become a member of the Planning Review Board and be responsible for reviewing and approving fabrication planning as well as providing repair dispositions for items that are designated as Controlled Items (Primary, Critical, & Flight Safety Parts).
Additional responsibilities include providing Engineering cross-function support, design interpretation to manufacturing/production teams, and supporting new/existing program development/improvements.
