About the role
The Account Manager, Circular Takeback Solutions is responsible for managing and growing a portfolio of client accounts while delivering a high level of service, responsiveness, and attention to detail. This role serves as the primary point of contact for assigned clients, ensuring their needs are met, issues are resolved quickly, and opportunities for account growth are identified and executed. The Account manager works cross-functionally with internal teams to ensure seamless execution and a consistently positive client experience.
- Serve as the primary contact for a portfolio of assigned accounts.
- Support renewals, contract extensions, and upsell opportunities when appropriate.
- Understand each client’s business, goals, needs and regulatory requirements.
- Provide strategic insights and recommendations to help clients achieve their goals.
- Build strong, long-term relationships with clients through consistent communication and proactive service.
- Manage a portfolio of accounts with a high level of attention to details and organization.
- Ensure regular and appropriate communication with clients to address their questions, concerns, and service issues quickly and professionally.
- Proactively identify potential issues and take steps to prevent disruptions.
- Maintain exceptional service standards by responding promptly to inquiries, anticipating needs, and escalating critical issues to ensure client satisfaction and long-term retention.
- Collaborate with sales, operations, finance, and support teams to ensure account success.
- Maintain accurate documentation of client interactions and account updates in CRM systems.
What we need from you
- Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, communications, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
- Experience with CRM systems and account tracking tools (Microsoft Dynamics and NetSuite preferred)
- Ability to build strong, long-term relationships with clients through consistent communication and proactive service
- Ability to manage a portfolio of accounts with a high level of attention to details and organization
- Ability to maintain exceptional service standards
- Ability to collaborate with sales, operations, finance and support teams to ensure account success
- Strong interpersonal skills
