Position Overview

The Swing shift Composite Alternate Lead Mechanic steps in as a leader when the primary Lead is unavailable, ensuring all repairs, modifications, and tasks are completed efficiently and accurately. The role requires FAA A &P certification and a strong technical background in aviation maintenance.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Perform hot and cold bond repairs as per Aircraft SRMs, EAs, or other approved documentation.
• Identify damaged components and select appropriate repair techniques and materials.
• Conduct tasks such as sanding, trimming, priming, and fitting repairs to parts.
• Follow repair sequences, complete necessary documentation, and observe safety protocols.
• Maintain a clean work environment and ensure compliance with all safety procedures.
• Record work hours and document all work accomplished daily.
• Take on additional tasks as assigned by supervisors.
