Allied World is investing in technology and capabilities to enable our underwriters to deliver on our growth ambitions and adapt to future ways of working.
The team focuses on:
• Leveraging data, AI and automation to increase efficiency and enable underwriters to focus on decision making and market engagement
• Delivery of data and analytics to underwriters to support key processes and broker / client engagement
• Management of offshore operations resources to support delivery of services
• Driving change management to ensure underwriters embrace new platforms and ways of working
• Supporting Allied World’s Global Placement team to ensure they are equipped to support underwriters to win multinational insurance program business
• Supporting US Programs underwriters to evaluate, onboard and implement new programs
Key responsibilities:
• Lead project teams of underwriters, IT, Operations and other support centers to deliver on growth initiatives
• Understand and document underwriter, leadership and other stakeholders’ requirements
• Work with IT, Operations, and other support centers to develop solutions that meet requirements
• Spearhead communications and change management across North America Underwriting and Operations – for specific initiatives and wider range of enablers that are targeted for delivery in the next 6-24 months
• Work with offshore Operations and project teams to manage their delivery
• Identify and deliver on opportunities for continuous process improvement
