The Team Lead manages a team of professionals responsible for delivering high- quality digital solutions. This role involves overseeing scope execution, ensuring that technical and operational standards are met, and guiding team members in their development. The Team Lead coordinates cross-functional efforts, drives process improvements, and maintains client relationships to ensure successful project outcomes. They play a critical role in fostering a collaborative environment and implementing strategies to enhance team performance and client satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
• Project / Scope Management and Execution:
o Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of digital projects, ensuring
that all technical and operational standards are met.
o Lead the team in managing project timelines, resources, and budgets to
achieve successful outcomes.
• Team Leadership and Development:
o Guide, mentor, and develop team members, fostering a collaborative and high-
performance work environment.
o Provide regular feedback, conduct performance evaluations, and support
career development initiatives.
• Innovation and Process Improvement:
o Identify opportunities for process optimization within the team and
implement changes to improve efficiency, quality, and client satisfaction.
o Drive continuous improvement initiatives that align with best practices and
industry standards.
• Client Relationship Management:
o Maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs and
ensuring that the team delivers solutions that meet or exceed expectations.
Act as a primary point of contact for client communications and issue
resolution.
• Cross-Functional Coordination:
o Collaborate with other departments, such as IT & other Enabling support to
ensure seamless project execution and the alignment of digital solutions with
broader business goals.
• Team Resource planning and workforce management:
o Effectively manage team workloads by allocating resources, tracking
performance, and optimizing processes to ensure productivity and meet
operational goals.
o Support talent development through mentorship and training, while
collaborating with leadership on workforce planning to align team capabilities
with future business needs.
o Ensure a balance between productivity and well-being.
• Conflict Resolution:
o Addressing and mediating any interpersonal conflicts within the team.
o Manage team members’ differences effectively to foster a respectful and
inclusive work environment.
• Strategic Alignment:
o Develop and communicate clear team targets that directly support the
company’s strategic vision for innovation, sustainability, and client
satisfaction.
Skills, Knowledge & Expertise
• Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's/College Degree in Engineering
(Chemical/Materials/Electrical/Electronics, Mechanical), Chemistry,
Sustainability, Environmental Science or equivalent experience (minimum 1
year) specializing in Engineering – Chemical/Materials/Electrical/Electronic
and Sustainability. A master’s degree in business administration or
organizational leadership or a project management professional (PMP)
certification will be an advantage
• In-depth knowledge of environmental regulations and compliance frameworks,
including but not limited to ROHS, REACH, California Prop65, PFAS, TSCA,
EPEAT, WEEE, ISO 14001 and waste compliance management
• Extensive expertise in utilizing environmental reporting tools and
compliance software, including ACS, SAP-ESHM, CMAP, CDX, IMDS, Alteryx, and
others
• With 5+ years of experience in environmental compliance, regulatory affairs,
or environmental management, with at least [2+] years in a senior role
• Strong organizational skills, with experience in managing compliance
documentation, audits, inspection, risk assessments and reporting requirements
• Excellent communication and presentation abilities, with exceptional
interpersonal and relationship-building skills
