Job Description

As a Finance Intern at CapitaLand Development (CLD), you will gain hands-on experience in finance operations and contribute to initiatives that enhance reporting, automation, and process efficiency.

What You Will Get to Do

1. Statutory Reporting & Compliance

• Assist in the preparation of statutory financial statements in accordance with accounting standards
• Support the preparation and filing of XBRL financial statements
• Assist in compiling schedules, working papers, and supporting documents for statutory audits
• Perform basic financial data verification, reconciliations, and reference checks
• Assist in maintaining proper documentation and records for statutory reporting purposes

2. Process Improvement & AI Innovation

• Identify opportunities to improve and streamline existing finance processes
• Explore the use of AI and automation tools to enhance efficiency and productivity
• Assist in developing templates, workflows, and dashboards to reduce manual effort
• Support digital transformation initiatives and continuous process improvement projects within the Finance team

3. Ad-hoc Finance Support

• Assist with finance-related projects and assignments as required
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and management reporting activities
• Assist in data analysis and preparation of presentation materials
• Provide administrative and coordination support to the Finance team
• Undertake other ad-hoc duties assigned by supervisors

What We Are Looking For

• Undergraduate pursuing a degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Powerpoint
• Detail-oriented with strong analytical and organisational skills
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Able to work independently and as part of a team
• Interest in AI, automation, and process improvement would be an advantage
