What we’re building
Respan is building the self-driving
observability and evals platform for AI teams, used by 60+ YC companies and
hundreds of AI teams.
The role
You will design the interfaces that AI engineers use to trace, evaluate, and improve their agents. That means trace visualizers, eval dashboards, prompt editors, and more. These are complex tools that need to feel effortless.
What you’ll do:
- Design end-to-end product experiences from concept to pixel-perfect specs
- Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs in Figma
- Work directly with engineers to ship designs with high craft standards
- Conduct user research and usability testing with customers
- Define and evolve our design system and component library
What you must have:
- Portfolio demonstrating strong UI/UX design for technical products
- Proficiency in Figma and modern design tooling
- Ability to balance aesthetics with usability and information density
What is nice to have:
- Experience designing for developer tools, data platforms, or B2B SaaS
- Familiarity with design systems and component libraries
- Basic understanding of frontend development (HTML, CSS, React)
- Experience with user research methodologies
