Account Executive, Corporate Affairs
Do you enjoy following business news, uncovering compelling stories and helping organizations build credibility with key audiences? Are you curious about how communications, media and reputation influence business success?
As an Account Executive, Corporate Affairs at Zeno, you will support communications programs for leading organizations across industries including financial technology, B2B and emerging growth sectors. Working closely with account teams, media and clients, you will help execute communications strategies, build media relationships and contribute to programs that strengthen reputation and support business objectives.
This role is ideal for a communications professional who enjoys both strategic thinking and hands-on execution. You'll have the opportunity to develop media relations expertise, build client management skills and contribute to integrated communications programs that make an impact.
About the Role:

Media Relations & Story Development: Support media outreach efforts by developing pitches, maintaining media lists and helping identify opportunities that generate meaningful coverage across business, trade and industry media.

Corporate Communications & Content Development: Research, write and edit communications materials including news releases, fact sheets, messaging documents, contributed articles and other media materials.

Client Support & Program Execution: Support day-to-day client work, helping manage timelines, deliverables and communications programs while ensuring projects are completed on time and with attention to detail.

Industry Research & Competitive Intelligence: Monitor industry trends, competitive activity and emerging issues to help inform communications strategies and identify opportunities for clients.

Events & Stakeholder Engagement: Support the planning and execution of media events, speaking opportunities, press conferences and other stakeholder engagement initiatives.

Team Collaboration & Professional Development: Partner with colleagues across disciplines, support junior team members and contribute to a collaborative environment that encourages learning and growth.
About You:

2+ years of experience in public relations, corporate communications or related fields within an agency or similar environment.

Experience supporting media relations programs and pitching stories to business, trade or industry media.

Strong writing and editing skills, with experience developing pitches, news releases and other communications materials.

Experience using media databases and monitoring platforms such as Cision, Muck Rack or similar tools.

Strong organizational and project management skills with experience managing multiple priorities and deadlines.

Curiosity about business, media, communications and the role reputation plays in organizational success.

Experience monitoring traditional and social media coverage and identifying relevant trends and opportunities.

Ability to think strategically while managing day-to-day project responsibilities.

Strong communication and relationship-building skills with the ability to collaborate across teams.

Interest in corporate affairs, B2B communications, financial technology or related industries.

Collaborative mindset with a willingness to learn, contribute ideas and support team success.
Preferred Qualifications:

Experience supporting integrated communications campaigns.

Experience contributing to event planning, conference outreach or stakeholder engagement initiatives.

Familiarity with thought leadership, executive communications or corporate storytelling programs.

Experience working with financial technology, B2B or other corporate-focused clients.
Pay Range: $60,000 - $70,000 USD/yr.
An employee 's pay position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, travel requirements, revenue-based metrics, any contractual agreements, and business or organizational needs. The range listed is just one component of DJEH's total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include annual bonuses, a Paid Time Off policy, and region- specific benefits.
