At Textron Sweden AB, we manufacture one-person–operated deicers under the Safeaero brand. We are committed to continuous innovation through rigorous research and development, as well as close collaboration with our customers to ensure our products meet their needs for safer, faster, and more cost‑efficient deicing operations. All Safeaero products are produced in Trelleborg, Sweden, and distributed to airlines and ground support service providers at some of the busiest and most deicing‑intensive airports worldwide.
About the Role
This is a full‑time position based at our manufacturing facility in Trelleborg, Sweden.
As a Quality Engineer, you will support operations in ensuring that all quality, regulatory, and customer requirements are fully understood and met. You will also contribute to problem‑solving and continuous improvement activities across all departments, working closely with Operations, Engineering and other key stakeholders to drive and sustain high quality standards. Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Leading and maintaining the ISO 9001 Quality Management System, ensuring compliance and driving continuous improvement of quality processes across the business;

Developing, implementing, and sustaining Quality Plans to support ongoing improvement of quality processes;

Implementing and monitoring KPIs for quality processes and recommending actions when performance does not meet required standards;

Ensuring that products and processes meet customer requirements and specifications;

Investigating product quality issues to:
-
protect the customer,
-
identify and implement immediate corrective actions to enable production at acceptable quality levels through root cause analysis, and
-
ensure long-term actions are implemented to prevent recurrence;

Supporting internal and external quality audits, including customer and third-party audits;

Maintaining quality documentation and records in line with company and regulatory requirements;

Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives, including the use of LEAN or similar methodologies

Performing other reasonable duties as required.
