About the Opportunity.

We are seeking Therapy assistants with previous experience in a similar role and a flair for the creative to provide holistic services in collaboration with the wider team to support an improved lifestyle for our residents. Experience working with residents with a diagnosis of dementia will also be highly regarded.

The successful candidates must be available to work the following shifts:

Reporting to our Lifestyle Coordinator you will be responsible for ensuring a consistently high quality of care is provided to our residents, to facilitate and support their continued enjoyment of life within their level of capability. Key accountabilities include:

  • Assist with the delivery of group and individual lifestyle activities and therapies for residents.
  • Assist with the planning and evaluation of Individual and group activities and therapies.
  • Observes and reports on consumers physical capabilities as directed by the Lifestyle Coordinator
  • Documents relevant information on consumer involvement in the program

About You

The successful applicants must have:

  • Therapy Assistant Certificate
  • A passion for aged care – flexible and empathetic
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability and reliability to commit to required shifts

Located in Menora - Home to 178 residents approximately 5km from Perth.
