Senior Systems Test Analyst

About the Role
Full-time | 12-month Fixed-term Contract
As a Senior Systems Test Analyst , you will support a major transformation program to consolidate multiple residential care systems into a single, integrated platform. This initiative will enable a consistent clinical care model across 88 homes, improving efficiency, compliance and resident outcomes.
This is a hands-on role where you will take ownership of test planning, preparation and execution across system, integration and regression testing. Working closely with business stakeholders, delivery teams, vendors and technical specialists, you will actively write and run test scripts, capture evidence, identify defects and support issues through to resolution.
Key hands-on responsibilities include:
- Writing, reviewing and maintaining system, integration and regression test scripts
- Working directly with stakeholders to confirm test coverage, scenarios and expected outcomes
- Managing test environment requirements, readiness and data considerations
- Executing test scripts, recording results, capturing evidence and retesting defects as required
- Raising, managing and tracking defects through the defect management system
- Supporting deployment readiness, post-deployment testing and knowledge base updates
- Advising on application effectiveness, audit requirements and data security considerations
About You
You are an experienced Senior Systems Test Analyst with a strong track record supporting complex system implementations, upgrades or transformation programs.
You bring:
- Significant experience in systems testing, integration testing or test analysis within complex environments
- Strong knowledge of testing practices, methodologies and defect management principles across the SDLC
- Experience working closely with business stakeholders, development teams, vendors and technical specialists
- Ability to analyse requirements, data and system behaviours to identify testing risks and coverage gaps
- Strong documentation skills, attention to detail and confidence communicating test outcomes
- Tertiary qualifications or equivalent relevant experience
Highly regarded:
- ISTQB accreditation or ITIL certification
- Experience in aged care, health, enterprise applications or regulated environments
- Experience with data analysis, spreadsheets, reporting or statistics
You are collaborative, detail-oriented and confident working across multi- stream programs where quality, compliance and user outcomes are critical.
