Credit Administration Analyst I

JOB FUNCTION**: **

Calculate, analyze, format, and communicate information on the Allowance for Credit Losses (ACL), Watchlist, and Stress Testing the loan portfolio and other loan reports.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Responsible for calculating the Allowance for Credit Losses (ACL) through the CECL (Current Expected Credit Losses) model.
  • Responsible for the analyzing and interpreting economic data to update forecasts in in the CECL model.
  • Responsible for communicating the preliminary and final ACL results to management.
  • Responsible for timely preparing the Watch List Report, working with lenders to gather and complete updates monthly, and preparing the Quarterly Watch List Memorandums.
  • Responsible for recommending and making changes to Risk Grades on Loans.
  • Responsible for performing regular stress testing of the loan portfolio and implement any changes to the test as needed by management.
  • Responsible for timely preparing and distributing of the Commercial Real Estate (CRE) report.
  • Responsible for preparing the monthly Allcodes report and preparing monthly loan reports for management.
  • Responsible for preparing Ad-Hoc loan reports upon request
  • Contact past‑due customers, coordinate repayment plans, work with legal partners on foreclosure or judgment proceedings, and oversee repossession activities for secured collateral.
  • Monitor appraisal orders for commercial lending to ensure timely completion, verify compliance with Regulation B, distribute completed appraisals to prospective borrowers per regulatory requirements, and escalate appraisal‑related issues as needed.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

**Work Experience **

  • Three years of experience in lending or loan operations to include reviewing loan documentation
  • Must be innovative and able to work independently
  • Must have excellent organization skills, attention to detail, ability to work under time constraints and good interpersonal skills
  • Must have working knowledge of MS Office including Excel, Word, Teams and Outlook

Preferred Experience (Optional)

  • 5 years of experience in lending or loan operations to include reviewing loan documentation

**Supervisory Experience **

  • None required

Education/Skills/Experience

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, preferably with a Finance or Accounting major
  • Strong writing, communication and analytical skills are required to include the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group; executives, managers, and subject matter experts

** Equipment/Machines/Software **

  • Strong knowledge and experience using Microsoft Programs (Outlook, Word, Excel), and Internet Explorer
  • Efficient usage of a Personal computer
  • Ability to work with office equipment such as phone system, 10- key calculator, telephone, copiers, scanners, shredders, fax
  • Preferred experience with; Jack Henry Silverlake, BUI

Competency Requirements

  • Proven organizational skills with ability to shift priorities and follow assigned tasks through completion
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Must have high attention to detail with ability to focus on assigned tasks
  • Must be accustomed to a fast-paced office environment

Physical Requirements

  • Must be able to lift, push and pull files up to 25 pounds
  • Must be able to bend, stoop, and be mobile within office environment
  • Must be able to sit for most of the day in front of a computer
  • Must be able to speak and hear customers
  • Must be able to see computer screen to read and type on the keyboard
