Electrical Engineer at Apollo Offshore Engineering

We are seeking an experienced Senior Electrical Engineer to join the PMC team supporting a major offshore energy project based in Ravenna, Italy.

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing technical oversight, management and assurance of the EPC Contractor's electrical engineering and construction activities. The role will act as the PMC's senior electrical focal point, ensuring that the EPC Contractor delivers the project in accordance with the approved design, project specifications, applicable international standards, HSE requirements, schedule and quality expectations.

This is a key client/PMC-facing position requiring a strong combination of technical electrical engineering expertise, EPC project experience and contractor management skills.

Key Responsibilities

Monitor EPC engineering performance and deliverables.
Challenge proposed technical solutions where they do not meet project requirements.
Identify gaps, inconsistencies and potential future construction/commissioning issues.
Ensure contractor engineering is sufficiently mature before procurement and construction.
Track technical actions and ensure timely close-out.
Escalate significant technical, schedule or quality issues to PMC management.
Ensure lessons learned and best practices are incorporated throughout execution.
Maintain a strong focus on quality, constructability, operability, maintainability and safe execution.
