General Expectations and Responsibilities
- Plan, coordinate, and monitor the team's work activities and progress daily.
- Interact/meet with your team regularly to provide guidance and updates.
- Receive and coordinate requests from the Production/Planning Department.
- Communicate with Planning to ensure revisions released to Programming align with the current job and shop needs.
- Provide technical support when required and maintain communication with Programmers.
- Comply with the Corporation's Quality Management System and QA/QC Program.
- Ensure that safety standards and regulations are respected.
- Resolve issues with skeleton updates, program swaps, missing programs, and overlapping plate programs.
- Oversee and keep track of the training manual dates/requirements for the department.
- Coordinate with Production/Planning for schedule changes, project details, outsourcing, and material needs.
- Oversee timekeeping of the Programming Department.
- Ensure projects are completed in a timely manner.
- Ensure drafting is archived appropriately.
- Report any non-conformity to Production/Planning.
- Enforce disciplinary actions when necessary.
- Any other related duties or special projects as needed.
