Are you an experienced, multi-skilled technician with a strong track record in hands-on maintenance across luxury properties and estates? Benguela Cove Lagoon Wine Estate is seeking a highly capable Maintenance Technician to join our maintenance team and uphold the premium standards of our world-class wine estate and luxury accommodation.

About the Role

This is a hands-on role for a skilled and versatile Maintenance Technician who will be responsible for maintaining and servicing all facilities across our working farm estate, including luxury residential properties, commercial buildings, winery infrastructure, and grounds. The Maintenance Technician will play a critical role in ensuring
our facilities meet the premium standards expected by our guests and support seamless daily operations.

What We're Looking For

• Solid proven experience in general maintenance with strong all-rounder capabilities
• Extensive hands-on trade experience across multiple disciplines: plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting, tiling, minor renovations, HVAC, and water systems
• Demonstrated ability to diagnose complex issues independently and implement effective, high-quality solutions
• Previous experience in luxury hospitality, high-end property estates, wine farms, or similar premium environments (strongly preferred)
• Professional communication and interpersonal skills for dealing with guests, homeowners, and team members
• Self-motivated, reliable, punctual, and takes genuine pride in delivering top-tier workmanship
• Strong attention to detail with a commitment to safety, compliance, and luxury standards

Requirements

• Valid South African driver’s licence with a clean/reliable driving record (essential)
• Own reliable vehicle (preferred)
• Physically fit and able to perform manual labour, work at heights, and in all weather conditions (indoor & outdoor)
• Full flexibility to work weekends and public holidays on a roster basis (core requirement), plus possible on-call rotation for emergencies
• Professional appearance and demeanor suitable for a luxury hospitality setting
• Supervisory Experience
• Computer Literacy
• Must provide at least 2 trade/professional references from previous employers or supervisors (with contact numbers) demonstrating hands-on maintenance experience
