The Project Manager serves as the critical execution bridge between product strategy and engineering delivery. Working closely with the Product Manager and development teams, this role is responsible for translating product direction into well-defined, actionable work – and ensuring that work is delivered with quality, predictability, and alignment to business value.
Backlog & Requirements
- Own and prioritize the product backlog, ensuring it is refined and sprint-ready.
- Translate product strategy into epics, user stories, and acceptance criteria using AI tools.
- Collaborate with Product Managers and engineering teams to clarify requirements and align delivery with business goals.
Delivery & Execution
- Lead Agile delivery ceremonies and manage day-to-day execution across one or more teams.
- Maintain roadmaps, timelines, and reporting in Jira and Jira Product Discovery.
- Manage risks, dependencies, and releases while leveraging AI, automation, and BI tools (e.g., Power BI) to improve delivery efficiency and reporting.
Team Enablement
- Act as the primary point of contact for requirements, priorities, and delivery questions.
- Foster Agile ways of working and support adoption of AI-assisted practices across the SDLC.
- Facilitate collaboration, remove blockers, and promote continuous improvement.
Stakeholder Management & Improvement
- Provide transparent updates on progress, risks, and delivery health through dashboards and reports.
- Monitor delivery metrics (e.g., DORA) and drive continuous improvement using data and automation.
- Champion modern delivery practices, including AI-enabled workflows and Agile best practices.
Required
- Strong experience in Project Management, Product Ownership, or Agile delivery within software development environments.
- Extensive experience managing product backlogs, writing user stories and acceptance criteria, and partnering closely with engineering teams.
- Strong knowledge of Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban), SDLC, and release management.
- Hands-on experience with Jira, including backlog management, sprint planning, reporting, and automation.
- Experience using AI tools to improve delivery efficiency and ways of working.
- Excellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to navigate ambiguity and competing priorities.
Preferred
- Experience working in AI-enabled, highly automated, or digital transformation environments.
- Familiarity with Jira Product Discovery, DevOps/CI/CD practices, and engineering metrics (e.g., DORA).
- Experience with reporting and analytics tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Looker.
- Agile certifications such as CSPO, SAFe PO/PM, PMI-ACP, or equivalent.
