About the Role
We are looking for a reliable, detail-oriented Cleaner to help maintain the exceptional cleanliness and presentation throughout the stunning Leonardslee Lakes & Gardens estate. In this hands-on role, you'll ensure all public and staff areas remain spotless and welcoming, playing an important part in creating memorable experiences for our visitors in this beautiful Grade I listed garden. Ideal for someone who takes real pride in their work and enjoys working in a picturesque outdoor setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Clean and maintain high standards in public and staff areas, including outdoor spaces, corridors, offices, restrooms, and dining areas
- Replenish supplies to keep all areas well-stocked and inviting
- Perform a range of manual cleaning tasks (dusting, vacuuming, mopping, waste removal, etc.)
- Promptly report maintenance issues or low inventory to management
- Strictly follow all health & safety, hygiene, and sanitation guidelines at all times
- Interact politely and professionally with guests, responding to requests efficiently and courteously
- Take full ownership of cleaning standards, working independently or as part of our small team
Requirements

Previous cleaning experience preferred.

- Strong attention to detail and genuine pride in delivering high-quality presentation.
- Excellent time-management skills with the ability to work independently or collaboratively as part of a small team.
- Reliable, punctual, and flexible approach to working hours (including weekends)
- Maintain cleanliness, presentation and replenishing of public and staff areas such as outside areas, corridors, offices, restrooms, and dining spaces.
- Physically capable of manual tasks, including prolonged standing, lifting, bending, and carrying.
- Own transport would be advantageous due to the location.
- Promptly report any maintenance issues or inventory shortages to management
- Strictly adhere to health & safety, hygiene, and sanitation procedures at all times.
- Provide polite, professional interactions with guests and respond to any requests efficiently and courteously.
